I have so many more Easter pics to share and photos of some of the hits we had from Pinterest but I just had to at least say something about Easter here. Yes we did Easter baskets and hunted eggs, but Easter means so much more to me than that.
In 1979 my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She was told that she had between 3 weeks to 3 months to live. I was 3. God healed her miraculously and she went to church that Easter completely cancer free. My Papaw, her daddy, responded to an invitation to follow Christ that Sunday and his life was forever changed. As I sat in church Sunday morning, listening to the preacher give the invitation, it hit me anew what He did in our family so many years ago. My friends, God is good.
